Renovations complete
In early 2007, the renovation of the entire outside of the main building began (on the left in the photo). The work consisted of completely insulating the building envelope, installing aluminium panels and replacing all the windows by triple-pane windows.
- In June 2007, the expansion work began on the hotel (on the right in the photo). In just three months, the 12 new rooms were operational. The work was completed in such a short time thanks to an innovative building technique used by the general contractor.
- By the end of 2007 everything was complete, except for some minor exterior work, and we are proud to say that the result is exactly what we had hoped for. The building blends perfectly with the natural setting and the 12-room expansion harmonizes with the existing century-old building from an architectural standpoint.
- Coming soon: After building a large winter garden in 2006, we plan to start renovating the interior, in particular our dining room. Come back in a few months for an update.
